MadOnArts invites you to participate in Yoga to be held the coming months in the southwest of France. This is a unique opportunity to meet Smriti Singh in spring. Smriti Singh is the founder and qualified teacher of Om International Yoga Health Society, whose purpose is to promote practice of yoga as therapeutic support and an spiritual path.

"The effect of yogic practices during and after performance are currently being researched by scientist and doctors around the world. Their results show that asanas, pranayamas, mudras and bandhas [different branches of science of yoga] are a potent means to restore and maintain physical and mental health. In the near future we hope to see an increasing application of yoga in all walks of life". Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

Smriti Singh shares her knowledge of deep traditional Yoga. April 28-29 and April 30 to May 4 (two courses). www.omyogainternational.com

Also have the opportunity to discover the surprising and colorful Indian theater troupe Milon Mela that will immerse you in the heart of a journey of dance, yoga and music! The science of yoga applies itself to all aspects of life.
The Sources' Research is an ongoing theatre project conducted by Abani Biswas (India) in Europe and in India for the past 15 years.

The project combines workshops, performances, parades and festival activities. It gathers artists and masters of some of the most ancient Indian performing disciplines:
Baul musicians from Bengal
Masters of Kalaripayattu martial art from Kerala,
Chhau dancers from Purullia (Jarkhand)
Gotipua Temple dancers of Orissa

The Sources' Research proposes two currents of activity:
Workshops focused on the work on one's body, mind and heart, on the work with nature and with silence. The inspiration and the structure come from the work of the Theatre of Sources directed by Jerzy Grotowski in which Abani Biswas had participated from 1979 to 1982.

Milon Mela - theatre activity that presents traditional performative techniques to a large public. The Source's Research has its own workcenter: Theatre House located in Santiniketan (India). Milon Mela, theater troupe from West Bengal, July 16-25.
